Stoneware, wheel-thrown, carved, stained, and fired in an oxidation atmosphere at 2200 degrees F. 8 1/8” h x 4 7/8”w x 8”d. The Wild Rice series was inspired by the wild rice growing in the San Marcos River. I wanted to capture the movement of the wild rice as it flows in the San Marcos River.
